I was attracted to the creative and original styles after seeing pictures on-line, but then when I received a few samples in the mail … it was LOVE, LOVE, LOVE at first sight! The quality and craftsmanship is like no other. Each pair of unique baby slippers is handmade by a fair trade artisan cooperative in Mongolia. The artists apply traditional felting skills to create the beautiful styles and magnificent quality. You will be truly amazed at the craftsmanship for such a great price. These sturdy baby slippers and moccasins are so adorable and of such quality, they are sure to become a keepsake after your baby or toddler grows out of them. Warm Woolly Mocs – With thick comfy felt, these mocs come in a beautiful deep aqua or natural color. 100% seamless woolen felt handmade in Mongolia by a fair trade artisan cooperative. Hand finished with black felt and black detail stitching.
Warm Woolly Slippers, Hitch – Woolly grey with a sturdy wool hitch, these slippers are handmade in Mongolia of seamless felt. A dark suede sole is hand sewn to each slipper. A timeless style worn in Mongolia.
Little Pups Slippers – Woof! Handmade in Mongolia by a fair trade artisan cooperative, little pup slippers are traditionally felted using 100% wool. The soles are deep brown suede. The ears are an extension of the seamless wool slippers, so they are very durable for little hands to tug. Eyes, nose and stitching detail is all by hand.
Tulip Slippers – Handmade in Mongolia, pink tulip slippers are a favorite. We love them so much that the artists made more for 2009. Using traditional felting skills, the artists hand-felted, hand-dyed, and hand-cut these beautiful seamless slippers, tulips for her toes. For matching hats and mittens, please see gift sets.
